After over a decade of playoff losses, San Diego has finally won a game in the post-season. Not be greedy, but I want to see them continue to win in the post-season. I remember the miraculous run in 1994 and the miserable showing against the 49ers so I would like a championship. One down, three to go.
Some weeks it seems I really don’t have anything to blog about. Chargers beat the Raiders this past weekend so there was reason to be glad in my house. Jesse just finished his first big break since school started and is back at it today. He spent most of the time gaming. No surprise there. Not much else going on.
Sunday was day to be happy and sad. The Chargers continued what looks to be a dismal season. I hope they can turn it around and soon. Meanwhile, the Angels are in the post-season again. Now I wait and see who they will face. Either way, they are in. Whoohoo!!
That is the sound of me hitting my head after the disgraceful play of my Chargers last night. After the first two games, I have a “it’s one of those years” feelings. I will remain a fan regardless, but if they continue to look as poorly as they did last night, I will certainly be banging my head more. At least the Angels are looking good for post-season play.
What a disppointment when the Chargers lost their playoff game. At least I was able to hang out with a good friend who also watched his team go down to defeat. I would rather spend time together and lose than not spend time together at all. As the saying goes, “There’s always next year.”
After a great year, San Diego begins their playoff run this weekend. I am looking forward to them decimating the Patriots and moving on the AFC Championship game. Go Chargers!! Go Bolts.
